We spend so much time, energy, and money pursuing fragmented parts of complete wellness. Things like, a 30-day fitness challenge to correct some problematic body part, a diet/weight loss program that solves your health problems in 6 weeks, soothing stress in 3 easy steps, etc.

Deep down we know the promised outcomes are unlikely, and yet we sign up for these programs over and over. I don’t know about you, but once upon a time I wanted that quick, magical thing that would solve all of my problems. The thing is, that isn’t how life (or magick) actually works.

Right now, as our world changes dramatically, so many of us are feeling overwhelmed and ungrounded.
By working with the Spiritual law "As within, so without" we begin to cultivate the types of change we want to see in the collective by starting first within ourselves. As we fully integrate our true selves we are able to more fully integrate with each other. 

When we follow Spiritual truths for integration, we develop the skills to tend to our personal ecosystem and feel interconnected with other ecosystems.

How is Seasons of Wellness different from other wellness programs?

Many transformational programs focus heavily on one or two areas of wellness without regard to individual needs or awareness of seasonal energy constraints.

There is a reason that trying to go hard at the gym in January doesn’t work out very well. It’s not because we somehow suck or lose willpower. It’s because we are depleting ourselves by putting out Summertime high energy without paying attention to the body’s need for nourishment and rest during the Winter season. 

(I bet no one has ever told you that a better strategy for your workouts might be to save the high energy things for the times of year when there is more sunlight?)

This is just one of the many examples of how honoring the seasons is a magickal wellness practice.

I am Nancy Trunzo (She/They), a Rebel, a Witch, and a Truth-seeker who guides people through discovering new ways of moving their bodies, exploring their creative magic, deepening their relationship with self, and building new habits for thriving. 
I do this using a wide range of tools for building a resilient body, mind & spirit. Sometimes that looks like Ritual/Divination and other times it’s Interval Training & Pilates.
It is all about discovery of your authentic self in a space that is free from talk about diets and weight loss.
This is important to me because I believe that the current way of viewing and performing “healthy” is based on racist ideas and policies.

I know from lived experience that being resilient and thriving takes every single resource available and combining them in a way that becomes an established practice.

Seasons of Wellness is a collection of practices that allows you to reap the magickal benefits of the tools, knowledge, and education that helped me move beyond survival mode and into feeling like I could flow harmoniously with life, no matter the season.

 

I will warn you that these tools are going to flip the script on a lot of messages you’ve been sold during your lifetime. 

You know the ones: what your body should look like for a particular season, avoiding foods that are prevalent at holiday/community celebrations, layers of guilt and shame about productivity, working yourself to uninspired exhaustion, not having self-care boundaries, etc. 


When I experienced this, it seemed like endless winter. My mind, body, and spirit become constricted, inflexible, and unable to give or receive warmth.

Yet, deep beneath the surface, there was a small warm spark of my true, brave, survivor self. This spark pushed me toward new experiences that moved me toward potential - toward Springtime.

Now, when winter comes, it is a gift. I know deep down that I have the resources to continue being a vital, thriving human being. Spring always comes again. And spring gives way to summer, and so on. 

Navigating the seasons of life requires a really big toolbox. 

Over the years my personal toolbox has been expanded with: 

  • Therapy for navigating C-PTSD and ADHD;
  • Meditation to quiet the inner critic and make room for self-compassion;
  • Cardio and Strength training to energize and move my body;
  • Life and Health Coaching as the client and the practitioner;
  • Incorporating intuitive practices such as Tarot, Chakras, Qi Gong, and Breath work;
  • Conscious Dance and Somatic Movement;
  • And following the guidance of the seasons and elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit) as a Witch.

In Seasons of Wellness, I'm compiling all the best tools that I am qualified to offer, and delivering them to you in a way that allows you to digest and implement them right away. The community we create within the program will be the foundation for creating a life that is radiant, thriving, and bursting with vitality - no matter what chaos is going on in the world around us.

Disclaimer: I will not be instructing in any methods that come from closed spiritual practices. For practices that are outside of my scope of practice and experience we will have guest instructors sharing their knowledge with us. These topics will be determined according to the group's needs.

This slow, gradual process gives you time to establish your practices with group accountability as you feel through a full cycle of the seasons. We are exploring this winding path together, you have lots of time to integrate what works for you and compost what does not.

Growing through the cycles and seasons of life takes time. Some lessons get absorbed right away, and some much later. This is why I’m offering this as a 12-month journey.

It has taken a lifetime of hustling your way through life to lose your sense of yourself. I’ve been there, it’s really uncomfortable. This program will hold and support your reset process. It's not fast work. It's slow, gentle, seasonal, cyclical. Like life itself. There are no quick fixes.

Winter: The Season of Nourishing & Foundation Tending

Typically during winter diet culture hits us with messages about restricting foods, resisting rest, body shame, and then after January 1st we are supposed to have the energy to hit the gym and make that "Summer body" happen.

We are kicking those "rules" out the door. The energy of winter is about deep nourishment and honoring time to rest with the shorter hours of sunlight. 

We will honor the season by moving our bodies with comforting movement practices. We will be exploring ways to nourish and savor what we experience during Winter. This self work is more internal with a wide variety of methods to learn and improve your relationship with your body, exercise, food, health, and history.

Winter practices will include: 

  • Restorative stretching & exercises 
  • Introduction to Intuitive & Mindful eating
  • Rituals for Winter season celebrations (personal & community)
  • Journaling with a focus on boundaries and intuition
  • Crafty projects to kindle your creative soul

Spring: The Season of Curious Wonder

By Spring we have developed a personal inventory, gratitude practice, nourishing movement, and new ways of relating to your body.

Spring is where we are gifted with playful, exuberant energy perfect for branching out and discovering new fun modalities of movement.

We will also be flexing our creative muscles with some group "crafting" to celebrate our new way of being. 

Spring practices will include work from the previous seasons as well as: 

  • Movement and fitness games
  • Creative projects for visioning & goals
  • Nature play, herbs & gardening 
  • Group ritual celebrating blossoming & adornment to coincide with Spring Equinox
  • Crafty ideas for your seasonal altar

Summer: The Season of Inspired Action 

You are rooted into your foundations after three seasons of harvest, tending, blossoming, and growing. By now you are now fully committed and engaged with your new way of being in your body.

You will be fully living.

You will confidently know yourself and feel ready to enjoy life. 

By now you will know when you want to exercise, how you want to move your body, and what it feels like to be in full bloom. 

Summer practices include your favorites from previous seasons and:

  • Strength & resistance fitness training
  • Self-care rituals for avoiding burnout
  • Group ritual for celebration of our strong selves at the Summer Solstice
  • Crafty ideas for your seasonal altar
  • Integration ceremony at the conclusion of the program 

Autumn: The Season of Intentional Celebration & Harvest


We will use group and personal gratitude practices to celebrate what we've accomplished over the previous seasons. This is the time to honor and harvest what is present in our life and prepare for the seasons to come. 

We will explore playful physical movement that allows us to celebrate what we appreciate about our bodies, this will take the form of guided sessions that bring us into our core and aid in grounding. 

Autumn practices will include:

  • Core strengthening & stability
  • Low impact cardio exercises
  • Body appreciation rituals
  • Altar building 
  • Journaling
  • Solstice and other season based celebrations
